Best Home Made Paleo Chocolate Ever!

Chocolate is a super food FACT! Well that’s as long as you use the purest natural ingredients and don’t contaminate it with crap like the corporate food manufacturers do.

Raw Cacao contains high amounts of antioxidant super-nutrients known as flavonoids. These flavonoids have been shown to have an-inflammatory and anti-clotting properties, which in theory reduces the risk of heart decease. Also the coconut oil I use in my recipe will help boost your metabolism and subsequently help you to DROP FAT! Another property of Coconut Oil is that it will help ease stomach bloating and effects from Irritable bowel Syndrome.

In recent years my cravings for chocolate have grown stronger but most off the shelf dark chocolates high in cocoa solids (lindt 90%, Tesco 85%) are too bitter to enjoy properly. Until know I’ve struggled to find a decent recipe for chocolate, but last night I played around with the ingredients in my cupboards and came up with this little beauty



3/4 Cup Raw Cacao Powder

1 Cup Coconut Oil

1/5 Cup Dessicated Coconut

1/2 Cup Manuka Honey

1/4 Cup Cacao Nibs



Melt your cup of Coconut oil and dd to blender with all the other ingredients.

Blend for 30 seconds (so everything is mixed but there are still crunchy bit’s of the cacao nibs left.

Pour into a backing tray and set in the freezer.  That’s it!

You will have to keep in the fridge or the freezer constantly as the coconut oilmelts at a low temperature and you will just end up with a soggy mess. It haven’t worked out how to keep it in solid form without using any artificial additives yet…but I will.
